Since 1995, the Carolina Juniors Volleyball Club has had thousands of girls participate in our volleyball programs. Many of these players and teams have achieved local, regional, college and national success and recognition over the years. Some players have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional levels, but most will look back on their experiences at CJV as one where they learned to play a great game they will be able to play and enjoy with friends and colleagues their whole lives and were able to play their middle school and high school volleyball careers at a much higher competition level than before.

The CJV Club continues to improve all players at the Club, High School and College levels. According to the NCHSAA and NCISAA archives, before 1995, there were only a few Volleyball State Champions from any Charlotte area schools. Since Sports Connection and CJV started in 1995, there have been 28 High School State Champions from schools in the Charlotte area. Many of the players from these schools have been part of the CJV Programs. Every Volleyball State Championship from the Charlotte area was coached by a current or past CJV coach. • National High School Coach Of The Year
• Over 75 girls named to All-Region Team or Region MVP
• Over 150 girls have continued on to play at the Collegiate level

The CJV Club Directors have been involved in youth volleyball for over 50 years combined and have won over 20 NC and SC State Championships as well as many Carolina Region Championships. Our coaches have been successful at the Collegiate, High school, Carolina Region and National levels. The CJV Club is sponsored by the Sports Connection which helps the club keep the program costs lower than most other clubs and provides consistency from year to year in regards to practice and meeting facilities and administrative assistance.

The CJV Club conducts clinics each season for the CJV Players and Coaches. Gold Medal Squared Clubs emphasize the process of winning and competitiveness.

Over 70% of all players and coaches at clubs in the Charlotte area, started or furthered their coaching and playing careers by playing, coaching or through some other contact or relationship with CJV! With CJV’s numerous levels of Programs from Lil Spikers all the way to the Elite Level, we are able to train all ages and skill levels of players. In addition to teaching and training over 2500 players each year, CJV also allows coaches an opportunity to advance their coaching careers at CJV by working with the some of the best volleyball coaches and players in the area. We are proud to be able to Train and Mentor new and less experienced coaches interested in learning to coach volleyball, not just for our CJV Club, but also to improve the quality and level of coaching at all the local schools and other volleyball clubs in the area. We understand Coaches and Players have many opportunities to coach and play volleyball and are glad CJV is, or has been, part of their volleyball careers and hope they will continue to play, coach and give back to the great sport of Volleyball wherever they are.
