Lessons & Group Training

Lessons are posted on a monthly basis. The following month’s lesson will be posted during the final week of the current month (if not sooner). Please continue to check out website for available lessons.

In addition to Private and Group Lessons, CJV also offers a number of Clinics and Camps to help players learn and improve their volleyball skills. Visit our Training Page to view all Clinic and Camp options.

CJV Private Lessons are sessions with a CJV Coach to work on a specific skill or technique as defined by the player. Lessons range from $65 to $100 per hour. Players are allowed to bring one to three extra players with them to the lesson, based on the lesson option you choose. ($65 for 1-2 players, $85 for 1-3 players, $100 for 1-4 players). The primary person registering for the lesson is responsible for payments. We are unable to split payments. Private Lessons need to be booked and paid for in advance and the details of what skills the player would like to work on should be listed on the online reservation form.

CJV 8-12U Group Lessons are one hour sessions with one or more of our CJV Coaches for multiple players of similar skill levels wanting to improve on a specific volleyball skill such as Hitting, Blocking, Setting, Serving and Passing. Group lessons need to be booked and paid for in advance and the player’s Playing Level should be listed on the online reservation form so we can ensure players are grouped together with other players of similar experience levels. The skill levels are broken down as followed:

Beginner – Little to no experience, needs more guidance on technique

Intermediate – experience playing, needs improvement on consistency and accuracy, has played on Regional or Developmental Travel team or Local team

CJV 13-15U Group Lessons are one hour sessions with one or more of our CJV Coaches for multiple players of similar skill levels wanting to improve on a specific volleyball skill such as Hitting, Blocking, Setting, Serving and Passing. Group lessons need to be booked and paid for in advance and the player’s Playing Level should be listed on the online reservation form so we can ensure players are grouped together with other players of similar experience levels. The skill levels are broken down as followed:

Intermediate 1 – experience playing, needs improvement on consistency and accuracy, has played on 13-14 Regional Travel team, Developmental Travel team or Local team

Intermediate 2 – experience playing, consistent and accurate player, has played on National, Semi-National or 15 Regional Travel team

Advanced – experience playing, has played on Elite or National Travel team

CJV 16-18U Group Lessons are one hour sessions with one or more of our CJV Coaches for multiple players of similar skill levels wanting to improve on a specific volleyball skill such as Hitting, Blocking, Setting, Serving and Passing. Group lessons need to be booked and paid for in advance and the player’s Playing Level should be listed on the online reservation form so we can ensure players are grouped with other players of similar experience levels. The skill levels are broken down as followed:

Intermediate 2 – experience playing, consistent and accurate player, has played on Semi-National or Regional Travel team

All lessons can be booked online, and are based on court and coach availability. Lesson requests are not being accepted at this time.

If you need to cancel your lesson, and it is more than 24 hours before your lesson, you can simply email us at [email protected] and we will process a credit to your DAYSMART account.

If you need to cancel your lesson and it is less than 24 hours before your lesson, please CALL US at 704-583-1444 immediately AND email us at [email protected]. Lessons rescheduled or cancelled with less than a 24 hour notice will result in a rescheduling / cancellation fee.

Private Lesson Rescheduling/Cancellation Fee – $32.50

Group Rescheduling/Cancellation Fee – $17.50

Small Group Rescheduling/Cancellation Fee – $12.50
